Welcome

I'm Brendan Bond, an Alexander Technique Teacher based in Melbourne, Australia. I teach open group classes, activity-specific workshops, private lessons, and I offer tailored organisational consulting.

The Alexander Technique is an experiential way of learning about your own patterns of co-ordination and how you can direct these patterns for positive change. By learning to think more clearly and move more naturally you will:

  • Boost your overall confidence and wellbeing
  • Reduce or eliminate chronic pain
  • Perform better at work and at play
  • Communicate more effectively
  • Learn new skills more quickly
  • Find constructive alternatives to unwanted habits

The Technique is simple, elegant, practical, and enjoyable. It can be applied to any activity, from basic daily tasks to specialised high-performance endeavors.

I teach through a combination of verbal guidance and the delicate use of my hands. During classes you will experience new ways of co-ordinating yourself in any activity that interests you. You will also learn how to generate continued improvements independently. No special clothing or equipment is required.

Your first class or lesson is free!

The Alexander Technique is a unique process and as such it has to be experienced to be understood. To make this easy for you, I offer your first group class or private lesson for free - no obligation, just come try it out. Call me on 0432 902 185 and we can arrange your first taste of the Alexander Technique.

"The hallmarks of the Alexander Technique are creativity, spontaneity, and adaptability to change." A.R. Alexander, brother of F.M. Alexander, developer of the Technique
